Our Story
The division was established in 2000 as a specialist air conditioning subsidiary of Christchurch Electrical, one of Canterbury’s most reliable and trusted electrical services. Shortly afterwards the group acquired The Heat Pump People, a successfully established heat pump business servicing Canterbury and the division continued to trade with this name.
Who We Are
At The Heat Pump People we have an exceptional team of experienced technicians with trade specific qualifications. Heading the team we have Rex Prebble, Managing Director of the group, a trained electrician with over 32 years of industry knowledge, Adam Kelso, a registered electrician with over a decade of experience in the HVAC industry as General Manager, Michael Davidson bringing a wealth of experience with over 20 years in the industry as Estimator and Cameron Shaw as our Service Manager and qualified refrigeration engineer.
