Troubleshooting Heat Pumps

• Remote control not working
• If your remote-control screen goes blank or the heat pump does not seem to respond, change the batteries (slide the front panel down and off to reveal the battery compartment)
• Green Blinking Light
• This usually indicates a fault, call 03 366 1823 for further guidance/diagnosis appointment. Do check that your filters are cleaned and there are no obstructions to air flow at the indoor or outdoor unit
• Unit Not turning on
• Check that the outdoor isolator switch close to the outdoor unit has not been switched off, if not, check the circuit breakers on the switchboard
• Indoor unit stops working on a cold morning or system makes a gasping air noise
• The system is likely to be in defrost mode.  The outdoor unit will be working whilst defrost mode and the indoor should start within 15 minutes
