As The Heat Pump People, we pride ourselves on keeping up to date with the latest in air conditioning and heat pump technologies. We favour a holistic approach that is always looking for integrated solutions that best fit the unique needs of our clients.
The progress in air conditioning and heat pump technology continues to accelerate, and it's important that we stay ahead of the curve.
Here's a guide to some of the great positive new developments in the heat pump and air conditioning industry in New Zealand.
Some of the top premier brands we stock are Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, and Fujitsu. So here's the latest from these brands.
Daikin has been developed with 'Inverter Technology' - one of the most energy efficient methods of heating and cooling your home. It works by subtly adjusting the power so you reach the desired temperature faster and then maintains it without fluctuations.
It is much more effective than a traditional non inverter system, using Daikin's advanced inverter compressor to continually adjust the heating and cooling output depending on the temperature of the room.
Another example of Daikin's signature innovation is their new US7 split system heat pump. This system provides premium air quality for your home with its humidifying, dehumidifying, ventilating and air purification capabilities. Because of this it is a 'Sensitive Choice' approved product by the National Asthma Council of New Zealand.
Not only that, but it is the first of Daikin's products to employ their next generation R32 refrigerant – that earned a 7-Star 'Super Efficiency' rating.
A brilliant example of cutting edge technology from Mitsubishi Electric is their 'HyperCore Technology' used in their new heat pumps. Most ordinary heat pumps produce less heat once the temperature falls below 7 degrees. However, HyperCore Technology guarantees full effectiveness down to -15 degrees, making it a great performer in New Zealand's colder conditions.
The HyperCore Technology is precisely designed to deal with more extreme cold, as opposed to most heat pumps which are designed for operation only in more temperate conditions - and usually recommend having a backup option for when things get too tough.
Both Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric are great options for Canterbury conditions.
Fujitsu's e3 Classic series employs a state of the art thermodynamic system using R32 refrigerant to heat or cool your home, combined with Fujitsu's twin rotary DC compressor, DC Inverter control and DC fan motor technologies, it all adds up to deliver more bang for your buck than previous systems.
Other features include human sensor control, so that when movement is not detected the energy save mode activates and capacity is reduced until the sensor detects human movement again. The human presence is detected in the room by a pyroelectric infrared sensor, which has a range of 6 metres, between 90 degrees vertically and 100 degrees horizontally.
We pride ourselves on delivering the best of products to their clients. Contact us todayto find out what these and other brands can do to achieve your heat and cooling goals.
